RE: DTV Coupon program falls short on funds

I got mine and I am still trying to decide which model to get. Get the Insignia from Best Buy. ...has analog pass through, the remote controls tv power, volume and channels. Very user friendly. I posted a review of it a few weeks ago. Look through my posts and you will see it. I think it is easy to find.I went to Best Buy and they would NOT let me look at the remote before I bought it so I bought a Zenith from Radio Shack. It's an identical item-just different names.

RE: Digital Converter FYI

I just bought 2 Zenith converters from Radio Shack. I don't think the Digital Stream is to good. Anyhow I think the Insignia is the same but Best Buy WOULD NOT let me look at the actual converter remote so I just let them keep it.

RE: Digital TV converter, 12 volts?

The Artec T3A Pro is powered by a 12V adaptor. It's popular and cheap, but I don't like it very much. (Lower sensitivity, no pass-through, crude on screen menus compared to my DTV Pal.)I think that the Artec T3AP Pro does have pass thru...Does anyone know anything about it?

RE: Digital Converter FYI

Got my converter at WalMart for $9.87, with coupon.Seems to work pretty well.I'm sure it will take a little time to learn how to operate it effectively.U just threw away $9.87...If U'll try the Zenith from Radio Shack U'll like it so much U will toss the Walmart junk in the trash..Sorry about UR loss...I got my own losses with these...lol

RE: I am digital(and so are my TV's)

Be sure to get a Zenith or Insignia converter if U decide to go to a converter unless U are ok with having to use several remotes to get the job done.

RE: Smallest DTV ? ...

He'd need a 12 volt converter and even then if the reception is marginal he won't get anything...I've thought about it myself cause I got a tv in my car.

RE: Digital Converter Coupons

The only boxes I've found that control the tv on and off as well as change the channels and change the volume is the Insignia and Zenith...Does anyone know of others?

RE: We get fewer stations after connecting the converter????

I get all the channels but NOT IN DIGITAL...That's what I mean by losing channels...But maybe it's 2 early to say UR losing them...Maybe they aren't broadcasted in digital YET. But yes in by-pass mode I do get all my channels still.

RE: We get fewer stations after connecting the converter????

Radio Shack sells the Zenith and it does it all-changes tv channels, volume, and turns the tv and converter box off. DTVPAL doesn't.

RE: We get fewer stations after connecting the converter????

It's a Magnavox from Wal-mart. I guess it's not pass-thru. Where do I get that one? My second voucher expires 10-06 so I have to move fast. My local Radio Shack doesn't have any. LOL, I'm in the boonies as you can tell. Radio Shack will ship it to your door for free if they don't have them in stock. My neighbor and I both did it that way.U can order a DTV PAL online from http://.www.digital-tv-converter.net/index.asp?...Do anything but buy the Magnavox from Walmart...I bought 2 and am stuck with them til I just go buy more elsewhere.

RE: Bought Hard Plastic Table: Will Not Fit In Pole Leg

Auto part stores sale adaptors for tailpipes. U might try them or actually go to a muffler shop like someone else advised.

RE: We get fewer stations after connecting the converter????

From what I can determine the only converter boxes that have remotes that do it all-w/o using several remotes while watching tv- is the Insignia or the Zenith from Radio Shack. The Insignia is from Best Buy. If anyone knows of others let me know or if there are better converter boxes.

RE: We get fewer stations after connecting the converter????

I get fewer digital channels than I do digital. I really don't like digital either but WE CITIZENS HAVE NO SAY IN MATTERS ANYMORE!

RE: Hydrogen Generators

The tech school instructor in here had nothing to gain so even if the seller is selling then the instructor has nothing to lose by telling the facts.
